What We DON'T Do

• We DO NOT collect any personal information
• We DO NOT send your data to any servers
• We DO NOT track your usage
• We DO NOT share your information with anyone
• We DO NOT use analytics or advertising
• We DO NOT require an account or login
• We DO NOT access your contacts, photos, or other apps

What Data Stays on Your Device

All of the following information is stored ONLY on your device using secure local storage:

• Your name (if you choose to provide it)
• Your bookmarked verses and passages
• Your reading history and progress
• Your personal notes on scripture
• Your app preferences (voice settings, translation preferences, accessibility settings)

This data never leaves your device. Never.

Permissions We Request

Audio Playback

Why: To play audio narration of scripture
What it does: Allows app to play audio in background
Data collected: None

Storage Access

Why: To download Bible translations and audio for offline use
What it does: Saves scripture content to your device
Data collected: None

Text-to-Speech (TTS)

Why: To narrate Bible verses and passages aloud using AI voice
What it does: Uses your device's built-in voice to read scripture
Data collected: None (uses device's native TTS)

Your Control

• Uninstalling the app removes ALL data permanently
• No cloud backup means complete privacy (but also means data cannot be recovered)

Third-Party Services

Bible Speak does NOT use any third-party services, SDKs, or analytics tools. The only external functionality used is:

• Android's built-in Text-to-Speech: Uses your device's native voice engine (Google TTS, Samsung TTS, etc.). This is controlled by your device's system settings, not by Bible Speak.
• iOS's built-in Text-to-Speech: Uses your device's native voice engine (Apple's AVSpeechSynthesizer). This is controlled by your device's system settings, not by Bible Speak.

We do not integrate any advertising networks, analytics platforms, crash reporting tools, or other third-party services.

Children's Privacy

Bible Speak is suitable for all ages including children. However, we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. All data stays on the device locally.

Content Disclaimer

Bible Speak is a scripture reading and audio tool that provides Bible content for personal devotion and study. The app does NOT provide theological advice, counseling, or spiritual direction. Please note:

• Consult your pastor or spiritual advisor for theological guidance
• Bible translations are provided as-is from public domain and licensed sources
• The app is for personal use and spiritual enrichment
• Always verify important doctrinal questions with trusted religious authorities

Data Security

While your data stays on your device and is protected by your device's security features (lock screen, encryption, etc.), please note:

• If someone has physical access to your unlocked device, they can see your reading history and bookmarks
• Back up your device regularly to prevent data loss (note: device backups may include Bible Speak data)
• Use a secure lock screen to protect your device

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in an updated version of the app. Your continued use of Bible Speak after changes are made means you accept the updated privacy policy.

Major changes will be announced via:

• App update notes in the Play Store
• In-app notification (if applicable)

International Users

Bible Speak is available worldwide. Regardless of your location, your data stays on your device. We do not collect or transfer data across borders because we do not collect data at all.

Your Rights

Because we don't collect any data, there is no data for us to:

• Provide to you (it's already on your device)
• Delete from our servers (we don't have servers)
• Correct or update (you control it directly in the app)
• Export (you can view it in the app)
